About us
Cushions can be a great simple sew and a great way to better your skills in different areas. We have aimed this workshop at a variety of people. Those who are new to sewing and can jump in a make an envelope cushion, learn the skills of inserting a zip with the zipped cushion and then for the more advanced the piped cushion gives that really professional look.Choose from three different cushions to suit your skill level
The envelope cushion is a great basic cushion to give the newbie sewer confidence sewing in straight lines, introduces you to buttonholes and gives you a finished item to take home with you.
The Zipped cushion gives you a professional looking finished cushion learning the art of inserting a zip along the way.
The Piped cushion is the ultimate professional finished cushion. This is designed for the more advanced home sewer, someone who can sew, do the basics and would like to learn the art of piping.
When deciding on your cushion please discuss with us your sewing level and we can guide you to the best one.
Your sewing will generally follow this plan; to start with you will discuss your cushions and what each one involves, then drafting a pattern for your cushion.
