Embark on an adventure and set sail for an unforgettable day.
Whether you're a novice seeking weekend excitement or a sailing enthusiast eager to experience the thrill of a 72ft Challenger steel yatch, our day sails promise enjoyment for the entire family.
This voyage welcomes participants aged 12 to 80, with young people under 18 accompanied by an adult.
Following a short safety briefing, we'll navigate Plymouth's waters and quickly get you involved in learning how to handle these iconic yachts. You'll have the opportunity to have a go at sail handling, ropework, tacking and even helming!
Of course, if you prefer to sit back, relax and let our skilled crew handle the sailing, while you enjoy the sea air, that's perfectly fine too!
Whatever you decide, we want you to know that your participation in this event, supports our youth development voyages, which offer an adrenaline-charged catalyst for change in those aged 12 to 25.
Over the course of the day, our expert sailing staff will share the history of our iconic Challenger yachts – which have all raced round the world twice as part of the BT Global Challenge in the early 2000s.
