Season of plenty at Royal William Yard autumn market, with pumpkin carving and a bumper crop of stalls and exclusive offers
It is set to be an abundant Autumn at Royal William Yard next month, as the award-winning Good Food and Craft market takes place on Sunday 6th October. Running from 10am – 3pm, visitors can purchase the freshest local food and unique arts and crafts from some of the South West's top suppliers and artisan makers, as well as snapping up exclusive deals and discounts.
The Autumn market will host over 80 different traders, offering some of the region's most diverse stalls, from delicious handmade cakes, clotted cream fudge and local artisan gins, to ethical homeware and handmade silver jewellery. Along with bespoke wooden gifts, hand-thrown stoneware ceramics, vegan sauces and marine themed hand-coloured etchings, the market is a treasure trove for visitors on the hunt for something unique.
The ultimate Harvest Festival style event, market visitors are also in with the chance of winning a bountiful Yard food and drink hamper, packed with goodies from over 25 different Yard traders. The hamper will include a bottle of Barbican Botanics spiced rum, a handmade mug from Shore Fired Pottery, a Riverford cookbook, a cake from Red Earth Kitchen and bottles of Hudnott's, as well as a range of free food and drink vouchers. With Halloween just around the corner, families can enter into the spooky spirit by carving their own pumpkins – the scarier, the better! Pumpkins of all shapes and sizes will be available and people of all ages are invited to create their own creepy Halloween creation.
