There's plenty more activities to enjoy at Seafest Plymouth at Royal William Yard and Tinside Lido is staying open to!
Royal William Yard
Head to the historic Royal William Yard for more Seafest Plymouth celebrations on both Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 September! Live performances, theatre and music will run across the weekend from 10am to 3pm, with something to entertain all ages.
For families, Above Bounds Theatre group will perform an award-winning children's production on 17 September, Higher Beings Circus Workshop on 16 September will give the opportunity to learn impressive skills, and an activity zone will offer and array of children's crafts and face painting.
We have two different free trails to try; a fun-filled Sea Life Hide & Seek challenge (with a tasty treat at the end!) and an interactive Geo Trail which transports you 380 million years into the past to find ancient sea creatures around the historic buildings.
Sea Shanty artists, pop up stalls and plenty of places to eat and drink will provide plenty to see, do and discover at Royal William Yard across the whole Seafest weekend.
Fresh Seafood Market and BBQ will be situated at the Hook & Line’s outside, waterfront seating area within the Royal William Yard. We will be offering fresh fish and shellfish, caught locally by our own boats to purchase or to enjoy cooked on the BBQ.
Take to the sea with South West SUP Stand Up Paddleboarding, with a choice of sessions available including: lessons, SUP yoga, SUP hire, SUP journey. Booking required.
Tinside Lido
Take a dip in the Tinside Lido over the weekend. Opening times are Saturday 16 September, 10am until 6pm and Sunday 17 September 10am until 4pm.
Bring a four-legged buddy to swim with you at Tinside Lido on Sunday 17 September from 4.30pm to 6pm! You can book a ticket via the app or website, £7 per dog, adults goes go free with a ratio of 1 adult to 1 dog. Spectators welcome!
For Health & Safety reasons, we do not allow Under-16s into the pools (This applies to humans only!), under-16s are welcome as spectators.
The lifeguards are only trained for Humans, so you are responsible for your dog.
We have an absolute No Aggression policy (so if either you or your dog snarl at or attack anyone, you'll both be asked to leave). And of course, it goes without saying that we expect you to pick up any deposits your dog leaves.
