Seafest at Tinside Lido and West Hoe Pier
Plymouth Sound National Marine Park are partnering with Seafest this year to support additional activations and opportunities for people to engage with the water and marine activities around the waterfront.
As part of this there are a series of activities taking place at Tinside Lido and West Hoe.

Free Swim Sessions
To celebrate Seafest weekend, join us for one of our free Tinside Lido swim sessions. To pre book, please select one of the dates/times below, there will also be a number of tickets available on the day from the Tinside Lido reception.
14 September – 10am to 12.30pm – Free Swim Session
14 September – 1pm to 4.30pm – Free Swim Session
15 September – 10am to 1pm – Free Swim Session
Swim Safe Sessions
Learn how to be safe in the water with this free lesson. For all young people aged 7 – 14 years.

Taster Scuba Diving or Snorkelling Sessions
Join our partners at Sound Diving to take part in a free taster session to try scuba diving or snorkelling.

Dog Swim Session
Dive into some wet and wild fun with your furry friend at the dog swim at Tinside Lido! Grab your tickets via the Plymouth Active app or swing by Tinside. It's just £10 per dog, and guess what? Adults get in for free! For Health & Safety reasons, under 16s will not be permitted, however they are welcome as spectators. Our lifeguards are experts in human swimming, so you'll be your dog's lifeguard for the day.

West Hoe Pier
Visit the Plymouth Fishing & Seafood Association gazebo outside The Waterfront pub for cooking demonstratioins throughout the weekend.
Due to unforeseen circumstances the 1000 Tyres Project activation will no longer take place this weekend.
The Plymouth Sound National Marine Park Horizons project has been made possible thanks to money raised by National Lottery players with £11.6million of funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
