Keeping Plymouth tidy
We want everyone to enjoy the celebrations but at the same time ensure our streets are kept clean and tidy.
If you are having a street party, please remember that you must not place any additional bags or waste next to or on top of wheelie bins. Excess waste not within containers like this will be considered to be littering or fly tipping, which may result in a fine. Any item which is too large to fit into the containers allocated to a property must be either taken to a recycling centre or collected by a registered waste carrier. More details are available here www.plymouth.gov.uk/section46.
Stay sustainable
We’re encouraging everyone to ensure Jubilee parties are as sustainable as possible. For example, please consider:
- Using reusable plates, cups and cutlery
- Encouraging guests to take home leftover food and decorations
- Use biodegradable or recyclable party decorations
