Official Statement:

We have sadly had to make the difficult decision to cancel the 'Pimms & Picnics' Garden Party this weekend Sat & Sun 22nd & 23rd Sept at Mount Edgcumbe House Country Park.

Unfortunately there is rain and high winds forecast for most of the weekend which will make the event unsafe to run from a health and safety aspect, also because a lot of the entertainment was to take place outside it would not provide the same experience for you as a customer.

We will be emailing all customers who have purchased tickets within the next 24 hours and refunds will be issued.

A Gin & Gift Festival is planned to be hosted on the 10th Nov to make up for any inconvenience and tickets will be available soon.

Once again our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this might cause but the safety of our customers is our main priority.

Imagine mystical woodlands, smugglers' coves and a historic mansion built nearly 100 years before the Mayflower set sail from Plymouth to America - it's the perfect setting for a magical garden party that will charm and delight during every moment of the day.

Surprise and a growing sense of anticipation will be the buzz around Mount Edgcumbe's Pimms & Picnics Garden Party, which takes place in the ancient Grade I Listed house and stunning Earl's Gardens during the weekend of Saturday and Sunday, September 22 and 23.

Around every corner there will be something new to experience, whether it's a daring circus performer, a selection of different dance groups positively fizzing with energy, a story teller enthralling the children with tales of mystery and suspense or a magical character popping out to say hello!
An exciting range of hugely talented musical performers will be entertaining visitors - some on small intimate stages, others playing to the crowds. There will be an eclectic range of artisan makers and producers to discover.

And when it comes to refreshments, there is the extra special Earl's Tea Party to enjoy, to say nothing of a distinctly celebratory Pimms, Gin and Prosecco Bar.

A packed programme of entertainment to delight the whole family will be running throughout the weekend - the imagination of organisers Miss Ivy Events has been running completely wild with ideas, so be prepared to spend the whole day in this idyllic setting - bring the picnic blanket and let the surprises commence!

Adult tickets cost £5 per day, tickets for children aged five to 16 cost £2 and under fives enter for free.

Regretfully only assistance dogs will be permitted at this event, which starts at 10.30am and finishes at 5.30pm each day.
