About us
The purpose of this fun course is to introduce students to all aspects of garment making – including design concepts; how to work with a pattern; make a beautiful 1960's vintage top and achieve a great fit!
This course is designed for beginners and novices; 12 – 16 years. Including complete beginners who have not used a sewing machine before and novices with some experience of machine use who would like to learn more about how to make their own clothes.
Saturday mornings or afternoons. . .6 x 3 hour workshops.
An excellent opportunity to learn the craft of making your own clothes with How To Make Clothes founder Jane Norris, an experienced designer, pattern cutter and teacher. Everyone completes their making project. Maximum of 6 students per group.
Students will be guided to choose their own project cloth from Make at 140 during the first workshop.
