About us

Join us in Tavistock town centre on Saturday 6th May as we come together as a community to celebrate the King's Coronation
❤️ We've pulled out all the stops to mark this tremendous achievement with a magnificent, delightfully nostalgic, fun-packed day for all the family.
✨ Perhaps you might like to have a go at Swing Dancing - Mad About Swing will be on hand to lead you gently through the dance-steps as you glide across the cobbles to the sounds of a bygone age.
✨ You'll be able to help yourself to the grindage from our street food stalls, and our Pimms bar too. Or if you prefer, indulge in a traditional cream-tea. Whatever your preference, be sure to razz your berries in a ringside seat. You might even shed the odd sentimental tear as you hug your loved ones close.
✨ You'll find lots to do in the fun Kids Zone. Watch as tiny (and maybe not so tiny) faces light up with delight at our traditional Punch & Judy Show. Beloved by generations, this show is for the whole family and features the hilarious antics of Mr Punch and his long-suffering wife Judy! The amazing Rainbow Gecko will also be there to wow its tiny audience with a magical bubble-show and face-painting.
Finish the day off tapping to 70's band Red Code with a beer or Pimms in hand! Street Food & Music Festival runs 17:00 - 20:00.
