Join the crew - Jeremiah's Journey Pirate Fun Run
7th May 2025
If you were inspired by the spirit of the London Marathon but aren’t quite ready for a full marathon yet, the Jeremiah’s Journey Pirate Fun Run could be just for you!
As part of the ever-popular Plymouth Pirates Weekend on Sunday 18 May Plymouth Waterfront Partnership is organising the Jeremiah's Journey Pirates Fun Run, and we need you to join the crew.
This nautical but nice 5km (and shorter 2.5km) adventure, supporting local bereavement charity Jeremiah’s Journey and in partnership with Taurus Events, will take participants on a scenic journey along Plymouth's historic waterfront. Walk, jog, or run – but don’t forget to don your favourite pirate attire and prepare for a swashbuckling good time from start to finish.
Check out the full Jeremiah's Journey Pirate Fun Run route.
The Jeremiah’s Journey Pirates Fun Run offers a fun and accessible way for everyone to get involved, regardless of age or fitness level.
- Date: Sunday 18th May
- Start time: 10.30am
- Location: Start and finish at Commercial Wharf
- Registration: https://race-nation.co.uk/register/plymouth-waterfront-partnership/jeremiahs-journey-pirate-fun-run
Plymouth Active will again lead the warm-up, and last year’s Plymouth Community Hero, Jo Connett, will have the honour of officially starting the fun run on the day.
Join us for a swashbuckling good time and help Jeremiah's Journey continue to make a real difference in the lives of young people in our city. Let's show Plymouth's renowned community spirit, inspired by the energy of events like the London Marathon and Plymouth Half Marathon, and make this year's Pirates Fun Run the best one yet!
The ever-popular Plymouth Pirates Weekend, now in its 14th year and hosted by Plymouth Waterfront Partnership businesses, returns to Britain’s Ocean City on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th May. A treasure trove of free and paid-for family-friendly activities stretching across the entire waterfront, from the historic Barbican to the Royal William Yard, will be available for all to enjoy.
