About us

Join us behind the scenes to see the Tamar Bridge in a brand new way- from inside the anchorage.
We hold monthly tours inside our Anchorage Chambers which give an insight to these fascinating underground spaces.
The tour starts in the Visitor and Learning Centre before walking to the anchorage. This gives visitors a different perspective of the structure as you look up and across the underside of the bridge. The tour will then enter one of the bridge's anchorage chambers. This area is not accessible to the public but is vital to the structure.

Please note a minimum age of 11 years applies to this tour. Under 18 year olds must be accompanied by an adult.

Given the nature of the location of the anchorage (an enclosed space with steep steps), we may not be able to meet certain specific accessibility requirements. Please get in touch if you would like more information on this.

We have limited spaces so booking is essential.
