About us

Explore new skills this year in a special workshop series that offers learning about 2 printing techniques and a simple book binding technique using natural materials. During evening one we are exploring cyanotype (sunprinting) with botanicals. Evening 2 is all about learning about Monoprinting and on evening 3 we are hand-binding prints into a unique art journal using traditional Japanese Book binding.

We are creating a variety of A3, A4 and A5 prints. The bookbinding format is A5. All materials are provided. You can also bring things from nature that you feel drawn to, such as leaves, flowers, grasses.

Workshops can be booked individually or as a pack of three. It is a rewarding experience to be able to combine both techniques from workshop 1+2 and create an art journal from your own prints.

About the Facilitator:
Friedel Fink is a resident at Saltash Studios, and creates mixed-media artworks & experiences for young people and adults.
