About us

This is an opportunity for students aged 16-24 studying level 3 qualifications (A Levels, BTECs, T-Levels etc) in an engineering related subject to gain a valuable experience learning about the Tamar Bridge.

Students will be guided by our expert engineer to be shown both the anchorage and under the bridge, areas that are usually not accessible by the public.. This experience, learning about the real work of engineers within this iconic structure, is a great way for students to enhance their UCAS and apprenticeship applications.

Please note, in order to participate in this experience, you will need to be able to:
Ascend and descend steep ladders independently maintaining three points of contact at all times
Walk along a suspended, see-through walkway above the river

Given the nature of the location, we may not be able to meet certain specific accessibility requirements.
