About us
Back by popular demand! Join us for some Winter Family Fun at Stoke Christian Centre on 2nd December for our Festive Swap & Shop with Family Activities £1 entry fee for adults, FREE for children.
So how does it work?
SWAP: bring up to 10 items of GOOD CONDITION, CLEAN children or adults clothing or shoes to swap for 'new to you' items.
SHOP: nothing to swap? You can just shop - bring cash or card and bag yourself some beautiful planet-friendly preloved bargains.
STAY: science, tech, engineering, art or maths activities for the whole family, designed and facilitated by teachers. And stop for a cuppa and a chat.
PLEASE NOTE: for hygiene reasons we cannot accept underwear or items that are stained, dirty or damaged. Damaged items can be DONATED for us to reuse and repurpose for future workshops but will not be eligible for swaps. If you wouldn't wanna buy it, please don't bring it. We don't wish to cause offence but will have to politely decline anything that's not up to scratch!
Any very high value items may end up on our 'sale only' rail and only be available to buy. This is to ensure the event generates some income, enabling us to do more good stuff in the future!
