About us
Plymouth band Windjammer is an exciting three-piece combining bold and engaging original compositions and self-penned songs, with modern arrangements of traditional material.Jake Sonny Rowlinson (vocals, synth, concertina), Jeremy Bunting (fingerstyle guitar, percussion, vocals) and Fran Rowney (piano accordion, low whistle, vocals), began playing together in 2015 and now combine their individual approaches into a diverse and captivating whole.
Frequently heard on BBC Radio 3, they've performed at Latitude Festival and Hartlepool Folk Festival. Their debut EP was released at a sold-out launch event in 2018 at Plymouth's Barbican Theatre.
