About us

Step into the sun with Helios, a stunning seven-metre sculpture by artist Luke Jerram. This awe-inspiring artwork brings the science and wonder of our nearest star to life in breathtaking detail.

Co-commissioned by the National Trust and partners, Helios is touring the country to mark the launch of the Trust's new 10-year strategy. Now it's coming to Plymouth for a limited time. Don't miss this chance to experience the sun's hidden beauty and power up close.

Helios will appear at the Market Hall in Devonport thanks to a special partnership with Saltram. Free to visit and open to all. A small number of bookable events will also be available – keep an eye on Saltram's website for details.
