About us

Local composer and performer Judy Whitlock presents a concert featuring three of her pieces inspired by the night sky.

Nationally acclaimed Abbey Brass Quintet will perform Judy's descriptive and tuneful piece Bright Lights in the Autumn Night and local renowned sopranos Kate Walker and Bianca Phillips will perform a new arrangement of the beautiful Star-Gazing with accompanied by piano, cello and violin.

Abbey Brass was formed in 1983 by trombonists John Powell (of City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra) and James Fulkerson (eminent American composer and soloist). The line-up combines players from the West Country with musicians based in London, including members of the BBC Symphony Orchestra and London Symphony Orchestra.

Family friendly event.
