About us
Creative water-themed workshops inspired by the peatlands & water on Dartmoor. Drop in workshop activities & information sharing.
Art and Energy welcome you to join us at Market Hall, Plymouth on Monday 17, Wednesday 19 and Saturday 22 August 2026.
Our new project, Our Land Flows...from Peat to Pipe, will help people to find out where the water from their tap comes from. We invite you to explore more about water from the peatlands of the high moors on Dartmoor and how it becomes piped tap water to their homes.
Our Land Flows will also be focusing on the history and heritage of the leats that were constructed hundreds of years ago to transport water to for the people of Plymouth and power the working mills.
Drop in any time for free hands-on, interactive activities.
Activities will include mosses with magnifiers, drawing, water activities & experiments, maps and more - there will be something for everyone to enjoy and join in with.
Suitable for all ages, everyone welcome. Children need to be accompanied by an adult.
There will also be the opportunity to talk to our team about the history of water on Dartmoor and share your knowledge with us.
Book a place to join us if you'd like to, but you can drop in on the day if you prefer.
