About us
The Faerie Museum — Beyond the Veil. Wander into a world of wonder.
Step into the strange and enchanting world of Ariadnne Tock, a 19th-century faeriologist who devoted her life to studying the faeries, pixies and hobgoblins she believed lived among the wild landscapes of Dartmoor.
Her extraordinary collection of sketches, models and curious discoveries reveals a hidden realm glimpsed just beyond ordinary sight. Explore intricate recreations of faerie houses, delicate sculptures of faerie folk, mysterious objects, whispers of spells, abandoned dwellings… and perhaps even a little goblin poo. This beautiful and uncanny collection offers a rare peek into the magical world known as Under the Hill.
Each visit lasts up to two hours, giving you time to explore the museum, with optional craft workshops and Faerie High Tea available during your visit.
