About us

The tour will start in the viewing point at the Tamar Bridge Car Park where we get magnificent views up and down the River Tamar. The tour will follow in the footsteps of the thousands of American servicemen down Normandy Way to the waterside at Saltash Passage. We will discuss the Saltash Ferry, the oyster beds, and think about how the fresh produce from West Cornwall and the Tamar Valley arrived by train.

Sturdy footwear advised.

Please note, the tour will be in locations around the bridge and does not involve any direct access to the Royal Albert Bridge.

Pre-booking is required.
