About us

Hoe Park House is a stunning Victorian town house, perfectly positioned between Plymouth’s Hoe Park and the charming, historic Barbican. Every room has been elegantly styled, and local artwork adorns the walls. This regal terraced house, offers an ideal getaway for groups or families.

The open plan kitchen-diner is stunning, light filled, designed with conviviality in mind, it takes up most of the lower ground level. The dining table comfortably seats eight, there’s also a generous bar with stool seating. There are quartz surfaces, stylish glass splash-backs, AEG appliances, including two fridge-freezers (ample drinks' chilling space) and two ovens (incl. a microwave-grill). There’s also a large induction hob, dishwasher, and an abundance of kitchen equipment and storage.

The kitchen a wall-mounted Smart TV and a Bluetooth speaker, simply pair your device and enjoy your favourite cooking playlist! The utility-room leads from the kitchen, with an AEG washing machine and tumble-drier. A furnished courtyard leads off the dining area, a perfect place for freshly brewed morning coffee or an evening cocktail.

Hoe Park House’s elegant main entrance opens onto the ground floor hallway, which leads to the stunning, bright, sitting-room, with high ceilings, large dual-height sash windows, beautiful reclaimed wooden floor, original ceiling roses and cornicing, all creatively combined with 21st Century living; dimmable LED lighting, Smart TV with Bose Soundbar, a selection of games and three comfy sofas. The original Victorian pocket doors enable the room to be divided into two areas, allowing everyone to socialise together or in two separate groups.

Also on the ground floor is the family bathroom, with rainfall shower and bath. Both bathrooms are fitted with basin, vanity unit and storage, heated towel rail, toothbrush charger, shaver socket and large mirror with LED lighting and heated demister pad.

Climb the carpeted staircase to the first floor and you will pass the second, slightly larger bathroom, with a beautiful walk-in rainfall shower. This floor is home to two of the four fully furnished, carpeted, double bedrooms. They all have comfy hybrid mattresses and luxury linens. The main bedroom has a bay window looking to Hoe Park, and is a very generously proportioned room, with a super-king bed. The second double has a king size bed and views towards the city from its large sash window.

The staircase continues over a half-landing with a magnificent picture window and wonderful view over the rooftops to the city centre and the Barbican. On the second floor the bright, spacious, south-facing bedroom has a super-king bed. The second room is a twin and has wonderful views of the city centre, over the Barbican rooftops to Sutton Marina, and the distant wilderness of Dartmoor.

Hoe Park House a private parking bay just 100 metres away, with additional paid street parking in plentiful supply close by.
