The family fun continues at the Theatre Royal Plymouth where the Dick Whittington Pantomime has been drawing top reviews over the Christmas period.
This year's show includes television, recording, musical theatre and pantomime star Shane Richie. Joining him on stage is Plymouth’s beloved panto star Samuel Holmes as the mischievous Spirit of Bow Bells.
They’ll be joined by a glittering cast including Anne Smith as the villainous Queen Rat, hometown talent Emily Beth Harrington as Alice Fitzwarren, Kira McPherson as the lovable Kitty Cat, and the hilarious Iain Stuart Robertson returning as Sarah, The Cook.
Alternatively, visit Plymouth's award-winning museum The Box which is packed full of mesmerising collections from Plymouth's past as well as a full-size replica woolly mammoth, wonderful works of art, amazing archive film and photography, and fascinating documents, maps and plans.
Their current major exhibition is is Remember Respond Resist which is part of the UK/Poland Season 2025 and features work by 23 different artists including Turner Prize winner Grayson Perry and Turner Prize nominee Goshka Macuga plus a presentation drawn from the archives at The Box that examines the historical and cultural ties between Plymouth and the Polish community.
