Game of Throwing

About us

Plymouth's thrilling new family-friendly entertainment centre with five axe-throwing lanes, an arcade, escape rooms and a cafe.

Axe-throwing as a leisure activity began in Canada some years ago, but is now becoming a popular hobby in the UK for families with older children and teenagers, students, couples and people looking for a quirky and unusual activity with friends or colleagues.

After a 15-minute introductory training session, throwers stand 12-foot away from a target, which looks like a large wooden dartboard, and throw one axe at a time towards it, aiming for the bulls-eye.

Scoring is simple, with one point if your axe hits the outer circle on the target, two points for the next circle in, three points for the next etc.

Bonus points can be won by hitting one of two blue ‘killshot’ markers on the target on certain rounds of your game.
