About us

Join our Ocean Discovery Rangers in a mission to explore the Ocean's depths, and learn what it takes to be a scientist!

We will take a trip through the history of Ocean Exploration, looking at some of the milestones for marine scientists. You will then have the opportunity to be immersed in a deep-sea virtual reality experience, taking on the whale vs squid challenge!

That's not all on offer though! You'll also have the chance to take part in a squid dissection. Working in small groups, you will be guided by one of our Ocean experts, and discover the inner workings of an amazing Ocean animal, and see what it means to be an Ocean explorer.

Due to the nature of this session, we are limiting tickets to age 16 and over. Please be aware that a hands-on squid dissection will take place for around an hour.
