Join us for our Climate Emergency Group lecture as Ian Hutchcroft discusses the work of Energiesprong UK and their revolutionary approach to net-zero, greener homes through whole-house retrofit.
Energiesprong UK is scaling the Energiesprong model - a revolutionary standard and funding approach - for whole-house refurbishment and new build.
Ian, who is also the chair of Plymouth Energy Community Trust, is part of the Energiesprong team adapting the Dutch developed approach for the British market, working closely with teams in Netherlands, France and Germany.
He is leading ground-breaking delivery projects across the country, including the Mayor of London's Retrofit Accelerator Homes programme and the Zero Energy Buildings Catalyst project, and now building a volume market with social landlords and industry partners.
Ian has more than 25 years' experience of working to deliver low carbon energy systems. He was Energy Saving Trust's Head of Delivery (England) and Devon County Council's Sustainable Prosperity Manager and he has brought more than £20m of innovation funding into the local energy sector.
