About us

Celebrate Great Big Green Week at Buckland Abbey with a series of events that support nature and conservation.

Yoga Poses in the Cider House Garden - Relax and unwind in the beautiful outdoor setting.

Pest Spotter Trail at the Abbey - Discover the fascinating world of pests that can be found in historic buildings.

Self-Guided Trails Across the Estate - Explore our scenic walks at your own pace.

Creative Colouring Activities - Enjoy colouring sheets available on the top floor of the Abbey.

Seed planting - This is a drop in event where you can plant a small compostable pot with a selection of wildflower seeds, then take it home to enjoy in your garden. (6th, 7th, 10th, 13th and 14th only)

Conservation in Action - This Great Big Green Week learn how we take care of our collection using eco friendly tools and cleaning materials. This session will take place from 11am - 2pm on 9th and 12th only: it is a drop in session and no booking is required.

Guided garden tour - One of the members of the garden team will meet you by the Great Barn and take you on a tour of the garden, offering their knowledge of the plants and history of the gardens. 9th and 11th June, 2pm.
