About us
This summer, thrill-seekers will have the rare opportunity to scale new heights at an adrenaline-fuelled fundraising event for two great causes. Argyle Community Trust and St Luke's Hospice, Plymouth have joined forces for an inaugural charity abseil at Home Park Stadium.
Taking place on Saturday, 11 and Sunday, 12 July, this unique event invites participants to climb to the roof of the iconic St Luke's Hospice Lyndhurst Road Stand before taking a breathtaking freefall abseil down to the hallowed turf of The Theatre of Greens.
Fundraising for Plymouth
The event will raise vital funds for two crucial causes in Plymouth:
Project 35 – Argyle's award-winning social impact initiative, delivered in partnership with Ginsters, aimed at tackling poverty across the region
St Luke's Hospice Plymouth – supporting families with progressive life-limiting illnesses with compassionate care across our community.
How to get involved
Registration is just £100, which includes a donation to be split equally between both charities. To make this challenge accessible to all, participants who raise over £100 via their 'Rise to the Challenge' JustGiving page will receive a full refund of their entry fee.
Every participant will receive:
- A professionally guided abseil experience, operated by Devon Adventure
- A commemorative event t-shirt
