About us

The Hot Banana band plays jazz, swing, jump-jive and Rhythm 'n Blues, the popular music of the early forties, fifties and sixties, developed from the boogie-woogie style of the twenties as played by the likes of Louis Jordan and Cab Calloway through Louis Prima and Bill Haley right up to Jools Holland.
The music will be great for dancing and, with Kevin Grenfell's jokes and audience interaction, it will make for a highly entertaining evening.
