About us

When a local boy goes missing, a group of extraordinarily ordinary teenagers are drawn into an adventure that is as exciting as it is unexpected. They enter a world of illegal data-collecting, mind manipulation and there's also quite a lot regarding supermarkets too.

Inspired by modern TV hits such as Stanger Things and Black Mirror, this is an adventure story about technology, standing up for what you believe in and always expecting the unexpected.

This new Play has been commissioned by Derby Theatre, Dundee REP, Leeds Playhouse, Northern Stage, Royal & Derngate and Theatre Royal Plymouth.

Following on from the success of Brainstorm and THEY, the Young Company return to The Drum with a new show, Influence.
