About us

It's time to Love Parks this July. So join us to celebrate on 27th July in Central Park and showcase why Plymouth Parks Matter.

We will have a whole host of things happening throughout the day across the park to show you how you can get enjoy getting outdoors and in to the parks and greenspace in Plymouth.

There will be a community village full of live music, food, stalls and free activities for you to take part in. Including Street Factory dance workshops, storytelling and picnics from Plymouth Libraries, make your own smoothie on our smoothie bike, jump aboard the PCC tractor, support local businesses and enjoy the wonders of central park.

There are also chances to take part in free Zumba, yoga and Pilates activities in the park. Other activities include woodland craft, nature walks, bug hunting, tree trails. We will be joined by some fantastic organisations where you can find out about getting out and about in Plymouth parks in a variety of ways including National Trust, Devon Wildlife Trust, Plymouth Environmental Action even our very own farm will be there. There will also be face painting, bouncy castle, football activities and more.

This is also your chance to get a look at the brand new facilities we have been working on in Central Park. The meadow Café will be open selling a large selection of locally sourced food and drinks, a chance to take a look inside the new community sports hub facilities and find out how you can use it for your needs as well as trying out some tennis on the 4 new courts behind the hub.
