About us

The Piskies that caused mischeif at Buckland Abbey during the Spring are back and this time they're squabling with the resident Buckland Trolls who have just woken up from their summer slumber. Come and see what pranks, tricks and hoaxes they play on each other and help out your selected side, are you #TeamTroll or #TeamPiskie? Pick up your trail sheet from Visitor Welcome and declare your allegiance with a sticker. Free event (normal admissions applies). Booking not required.

Road Directions

Turn off A386 Plymouth to Tavistock road and follow brown tourist signs to Buckland Abbey, which is approximately 2.5 miles from Yelverton. The lane from Crapstone has narrow sections but is wide enough for coaches and motorhomes.

Public Transport Directions

Take bus route 1 (Stagecoach) between Plymouth and Tavistock. Alight at Yelverton. From Yelverton, local bus 55 (Citybus) operates Monday to Saturday.
