About us
Nigel Price is a leading British jazz guitarist & bandleader, voted Best Guitarist in the British Jazz Awards 2016 and again in 2017. His own group was voted Best Small Group in 2017.His group also won the Parliamentary Jazz Awards for Best Group in 2010. He has made over 500 appearances at Ronnie Scott's in London .
He has played on more than 50 albums including 5 albums in 3 years as a member of James Taylor's Band and 5 with his own Organ Trio.
Nigel, backed by top local saxophonist Martin Dale and his band (Gavin Martin on piano, Kevin Sanders bass & Dennis Harris drums) will be playing two sets of a fine selection of popular mainstream & modern jazz standards.
Additionally this concert will be opened by a set from the youthful and talented University of Plymouth Big Band!
