Facilities

Parking – We have free, but limited parking at the hotel. With an 8 bay car park and 40 rooms our parking operates on a first come first served basis. There are also numerous on street parking spaces surrounding the hotel which operate 7 days a week between 8am and 6pm on a pay and display meter (at £1.50 per hour) and then between 6pm and 8am for a fixed £2.00 charge. Alternatively, by being a resident at the Grosvenor you are eligible to buy an all day visitor permit. These can be purchased from reception for £5.00 at any time and are valid from 00.01am on the day of purchase until 10.00am the following morning.

Stairs – There are five floors at the Grosvenor and all rooms (with the exception of our family suite) are up at least one flight of stairs with unfortunately no lift at the hotel. Should mobility be a problem then please let us know when booking so we can attempt to accommodate you on our lowest level available. Also, entrance into the hotel is up six steps with no ramp.

Check In / Check Out Times – Guests can check in anytime from 2pm, however please feel free to drop bags off earlier and make the most of your day if you wish. We kindly ask guests to vacate their room by 11am on the morning of departure. We do offer an Early Check In (Midday) and Late Check Out (1pm) facility, subject to availability, each at an additional cost of £10.00 per room.

Late Cancellation Policy – There will be no cancellation charge if a booking is cancelled / amended up to midnight the day before arrival. Any cancellation / amendment made on the day of arrival will result in a charge for the first night’s tariff for all rooms booked. In the event of a no show with no communication from the guest, all rooms booked will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to the full cost of the stay initially booked. We do advise all guests to consider travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances, as unfortunately the hotel will not waive any charges for no shows or late cancellations due to transport problems, ill health or inclement weather. Please also note that unfortunately we no longer accept cheques as a method of payment.

Breakfast Times – Breakfast is served from 7am – 9:30am Monday – Friday and 7:30am – 10am on Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holidays.
