Flavour Fest
The South West’s largest food festival, Flavour Fest, kicks off June with a bang! From 30 May to 1 June, over 120 traders will offer a mouthwatering variety of delicious food and drink from across the globe. Not only that, but there’s also live music, exciting cooking demonstrations, and plenty more entertainment to look forward to throughout the festival.

Plymouth Summer Sessions
The Hoe will come alive with Plymouth Summer Sessions from 12–15 June! It's going to be an incredible four days, jam-packed with live music from the likes of James, Pendulum, The Corrs and Snow Patrol. It’s not too late to get your tickets, do not miss out!
Strength of Spirit Games- Rehabilitation Triathlon
The Strength of Spirit Games – Rehabilitation Triathlon returns to Plymouth Hoe and Tinside Lido on Thursday 26 June. The triathlon will see a variety of service personnel compete in a series of swim, bike and row events, with the stunning backdrop of Plymouth Sound National Marine Park. Additionally, 150 children from military families will participate in the Junior Rowing Challenge, making it a perfect family-friendly day out.
The Rehab Triathlon is hosted by the Royal Navy and sponsored by AECOM and Defence recovery.
Plymouth Armed Forces Day
On Saturday 28 June, Plymouth Armed Forces Day will make Plymouth Hoe the centre of action for a jam-packed day of activities, live demonstrations, and military displays. Show your support for our Armed Forces, past and present, at this family-friendly event that’s guaranteed to entertain! Enjoy live music, air displays, military vehicles, and a wide range of performances throughout the day. There’s also a dedicated Veterans Village, where you can meet charities and organisations offering support and information for veterans and their families.
The Eddystone Charity Sailing Pursuit
Head to the Hoe on Saturday 14 June and watch as a fleet of yachts takes off from Plymouth Sound, racing out to the famous Eddystone Lighthouse and back. The Eddystone Charity Sailing Pursuit raises funds for a huge variety of charities. Everyone is welcome to come and cheer on the participants!
Plymouth Boat Fest
Taking place on Saturday 21 June, Plymouth Boat Fest celebrates Plymouth’s diverse marine industry. This free event will feature over 50 companies showcasing displays both ashore and on the water at Plymouth Yacht Haven. Exhibitors from the Westcountry’s leisure, commercial, technology, conservation, and safety sectors will be present. The day aims to break down barriers for newcomers wanting to access the waterfront, whilst being jam-packed full of fun activities for the whole family!
The Big Green Trail
The Big Green Trail invites you to explore Plymouth in a whole new way. Enjoy a range of free activities across the city including wildflower planting, sock puppetry, foraging walks, and more. Visit our six trail stops and collect a stamp at each place: The Box, The Barbican's Mayflower Steps, Union Street at The Plot, Royal William Yard, Devonport Park and Central Park.
Wimbledon on the Big Screen
From Monday 30 June to Sunday 13 July, Plymouth brings the excitement of Wimbledon to the heart of the city. Head to the Piazza for Wimbledon on the Big Screen, where the tournament will be broadcast live on the big screen. Settle into one of 200 deckchairs, enjoy traditional Wimbledon-themed food and drink, and soak up the sun. Not only that, but you can try your hand at padel, one of the UK’s fastest-growing sports. Thanks to Padel United UK and Plymouth Marjon University, a full-size padel court will be set up at the Sundial end of the Piazza. Free sessions will be available for the public throughout the event, with expert demonstrations and a special school's programme running on weekday mornings.
