About us

Mother and daughter team, Michelle Clark and Shelley Whiting, welcome you to their unique business situated on Southside Street, The Barbican.

The Flower Café offers a range of hot and cold beverages along with a selection of yummy cakes and sandwiches. We have created a social and relaxed atmosphere and if you are lucky you may get to watch a floral arrangement being made before your very eyes!

Our pretty courtyard offers additional al-fresco seating. So whether it’s a stroll on the Hoe or a lunchtime date why not make The Flower Café your regular rendezvous.

The Flower Café is a “one stop shop” for all your flower requirements, wedding essentials and gifts. From Weddings to Funerals, Valentine’s Day to Mother’s Day or just a simple Thank You we can create bouquets for all budgets.

Shelley Whiting is not only a qualified florist but also a qualified wedding and event planner so she is able to bring a number of different design aspects to the Bride & Groom's BIG day. We can provide a fully coordinated service that can be designed specifically to your requirements.
