1 Big Summer will bring three days of entertainment to the Plymouth Hoe. Each day has been curated to appeal to a plethora of musical tastes, genres and audiences, ensuring there really is something for everyone.
The event takes place on the Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend from Thursday 2 to Saturday 4 June 2022 and will see one of the biggest line ups ever assembled descend on to Plymouth Hoe for three jam packed days!
Thursday 2 June
The perfect start to the Bank Holiday weekend and is one for the dance music lovers, featuring a full live 30-piece orchestra and a soundtrack that will transport listeners through three decades of iconic White Isle classics.
The orchestra night will feature special guests Basement Jaxx, and joined by many support acts, including MTV and Plymouth favourite DJ R3WIRE.
Friday 3 June
The ‘1 Big Summer’ day festival and main event follows with one of the biggest events ever held on the Hoe. The Friday will feature one of the biggest artists in the world right now: Years & Years.
Years & Years will be joined by an array of UK chart topping acts and entertainment throughout the day, including L Devine and Beka.
This day was previously sold out but due to a small number of refunds, there is now limited availability - but this will be on a first come first served basis.
Saturday 4 June
Saturday will see two of the biggest bands - The Libertines and Supergrass - come together for ultimate finale of the 1 Big Summer weekend! .
Saturday is going to be a day for the whole family. ‘The Great British Sausage and Cider Festival’ will offer an unprecedented array of craft cider, sausage flavours, street food and entertainment, including stage games, and competitions throughout the day.
With demand across all three days expected to be very high, tickets will be limited to four per person.

Day tickets for 1 Big Summer will start at just £35. Weekend tickets will start from just £79.
People who have tickets from last year will receive these in the next 14 days.
Info for residents: noise complaints
Any noise complaints about 1 Big Summer on 2, 3 and 4 June should be made via the dedicated complaints telephone number 01752 717548 or by email on residents@1bigsummer.com. The complaints line will be manned from one hour before gates open to 1 hour after the audience has left the arena.
