About us
Come and hear Andrew Copson, chief executive of Humanists UK and President of Humanists International speaking to Plymouth Humanists about freedom of religion or belief and persecution around the world today. Drawing on the themes of his recent book 'Secularism: a very short introduction' (Oxford University Press, 2019), he will talk about the history of state and religion and about how the world is becoming a worse place for freedom of conscience. This event is free and all are welcome, although Plymouth Humanists do ask for a voluntary contribution to help cover speakers' costs
