About us

Join Phoenix Chorale for a wonderful evening of Christmas choral music with contemporary and traditional carols. Our musical medley includes the beautiful Ave Maris Stella by Kristina Arakelyan, On this Silent Night by Sarah Quartel, and Little Road to Bethlehem by Michael Head, as well as Dan Forrest's haunting The Huron Carol and one of John Rutter's most recent carols - All the Stars Looked Down. This is topped off with a lively helping of spirituals such as Calypso Lullaby by Jester Hairston, arranged by Joel Raney and two arrangements by Jack Schrader: Go Tell It! and Rise Up Shepherd and Follow. Mulled wine & mince pies will be available at the interval, as well as our annual raffle which includes a fabulous original drawing by the award-winning artist Richard Kenton Webb.
