About us

Join us for our first LIVE MUSIC event & an afternoon of rhythm, blues & rock with band THE FORTY FOURS (& special guests Vince Lee & Sophie Lord) at The Early Bird on Sunday 22nd June 2025.

Burgers, sides, beers, cocktails, milkshakes & drinks.

3-7pm

We are ecstatic to be hosting The Forty Fours during their fleeting visit back on home turf - the powerful 3-piece Rock 'n' Roll band bringing you classic hits from Chuck Berry, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones & more!

One of the highest regarded rock and roll bands to emerge from Cornwall, the forty fours take influence from traditional blues and Merseybeat to create an energising live set of covers and original material. Now based in London and following the release of their first demo album, fourplay, they look towards a resurgence in classic British invasion music.

Comprising of Oliver Harriss (lead guitar and vocals), Jason Bazeley (Bass guitar and vocals), and Andy Stander (drums and vocals), The Forty Fours are a group that must be experienced, live and on record.
