General Exhibition Visits – Mobile Museum

You are invited to step on board the Mobile Museum for a general visit to the Shaped by the Sea exhibition during its open hours. Weekday sessions run from 1pm to 5pm and Sunday sessions from 1pm to 6pm, and are open to all. Tickets are not required for exhibition visits, but free booking is recommended so that numbers can be managed; tickets are limited to four per booking, and larger groups are asked to contact the organiser directly. To reserve your free timed visit, book via the Art Explora Mobile Museum in Plymouth Eventbrite page: Art Explora Mobile Museum in Plymouth – General Visits.

Family Programme – Guided Visits and Workshops

For families, there is a dedicated programme of guided visits and creative workshops. Weekday family sessions run from 10am to 1pm and Sunday sessions from 11am to 1pm, with each 60‑minute slot including a guided tour of the Mobile Museum and the chance to make your own artwork inspired by the exhibition. Capacity is limited to 15 people at any one time, so free tickets must be booked in advance, with up to four tickets per booking. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult, and families are asked to arrive promptly for the start of their session. Book your free family tickets via: Art Explora Mobile Museum in Plymouth – Family Programme.

The Mobile Museum is accessed by six steps, but a mobility lift is available; visitors with access needs are asked to contact the team in advance so arrangements can be made in line with health and safety requirements. For large group bookings or further information, including access queries, please use the contact details provided on the Eventbrite pages or email mobilemuseum@artexplora.org
