'BARBICAN GLORIAS'
THE NEW PLYMOUTH MUSICAL
'BARBICAN GLORIAS' is a brand new musical-comedy about three no-nonsense Plymouth women. It will premiere at the Barbican Theatre in time for a good old pre-Christmas knees-up. Playing from December 2nd to 5th 2026, the show stars the great local comedian Suzy Bennett and focuses on three women who work in the fish market and how their lives change following a series of unexpected events.
Written by Hugh Janes and Richard Taylor (adapted from Richard's book of the same name) the musical is packed with songs you know and love from stars like Elvis Presley, Shania Twain, Miley Cyrus, the Black-Eyed Peas, Cher and many more.
This heartfelt, hilarious new musical has all the exuberance of one of Beryl Cook's paintings coming to life.
PERFORMANCE TIMES – 7.30pm. Wednesday 2nd – Saturday 5th December
