About us

Join us at the next talk in the Plymouth Athenaeum's Future Challenges Series when Mark Hodgson, Managing Director of Co-cars, will be discussing 'Building the zero carbon city through
electric shared mobility'.

Co-cars is the hire-by-the-hour car club for Exeter and the wider South West, for people, communities and organisations.

They run the biggest car club fleet of low emission petrol, hybrid and electric vehicles in the area. They also operate Co-bikes, the UK's first on-street, city-wide, electric bike network in Exeter.

Their electric cars and bikes are powered by renewable energy from Good Energy so all are zero carbon. Their aim is to provide shared sustainable mobility for all.

The talk is part of the Athenaeum's Future Challenges Series, in which we are partnering with organisations including the RSA, Plymouth City Council, Plymouth Energy Community, Fotonow, Art and Energy, and Environment Plymouth to host a series of talks focusing on local, national and global challenges.

Entry to the Future Challenges Series is free and open to the public.
