About us

Looking for ways to get creative over the summer holidays and imagine the future we want to see? Inspired by Echoes of Us, this series of free Climate Cafés invites young people age 12-24 to come together to explore climate, identity and community through creativity, conversation and making. Each workshop is inspired by one of the exhibition's core themes - Memory, Belonging and Connection.

Climate Cafés are part of a growing global movement creating safe, community-centred spaces where people can talk openly about the climate crisis. Led by the Climate Psychology Alliance and youth movement, Force of Nature, they recognise that many children and young people are already experiencing the impacts of climate change and thinking about what the future holds. Through creativity, conversation and connection, these sessions help transform feelings of worry into hope, confidence and collective action.

Each workshop is inspired by one of the exhibition's core themes - Memory, Belonging and Connection - using hands-on creative activities to spark conversation, share stories and imagine hopeful futures. No previous knowledge of climate change or artistic experience is needed; just bring your curiosity.

These free workshops are a great way for young people to get creative during the summer holidays, meet others, explore the themes of Echoes of Us, and discover that they are not alone in their thoughts and feelings about the future. Together, we'll create space for imagination, conversation and practical hope.
