About us
Plymstock Library welcomes Tavistock businessman turned crime writer Terry Green, to talk about why he is now in the frame for an art crime! He will be introducing his new, nail-biting thriller Dangerous Art and talking about his life as a writer.
His visit is part of a tour of Devon libraries to celebrate National Crime Reading Month and to mark the launch of Dangerous Art, published May 21st.
You might know Terry as the voice of "Cashier Number Three, please!" He's also been dubbed "Mr Queue" as he has the distinction of having exported the uniquely British habit of queueing to more than 40 different countries!
Join him to find out what prompted him to turn to a life of crime! He will also talk about the inspiration behind his books and the perils he's encountered on his author journey!
Dangerous Art, set in the high stakes world of fine art, is a taut, tense and riveting story of shady dealings and career criminals, of abduction, blackmail and fraud. Terry's talk is being held in support of the Crime Writers Association's National Crime Reading Month. This annual event is held throughout June to promote the world's most popular and best-selling genre and it is led by the Crime Writers' Association, of which Terry is a proud member.
The event at Plymstock Library is free, but spaces can be reserved.
