From Hilde, With Love follows Hilde Coppi, a member of an anti-Nazi organisation who is imprisoned by the Gestapo for anti-regime activity, who must fight for her freedom from her prison cell, all while taking care of her newborn child.
Berlin, 1942. A shy Hilde falls in love with Hans and gradually finds her place in the resistance group that would come to be known as the Red Orchestra. Together, they spend a beautiful summer where their relationship entwines with quiet acts of defiance. Inspired by an incredible true story set against the backdrop of a country torn by conflict, From Hilde, With Love is a powerful tale of love and resistance.
The feature film will be preceded by the screening of LITTLE SHREW, a four-minute animated short film written and directed by Kate Bush, set to her song 'Snowflake'.
