About us
Burma's Spring documents the struggles of ordinary people made extraordinary by circumstance.Working as an undercover reporter, Rosalind Russell unearthed the real-life stories of a rich array of characters and followed their fortunes over a tumultuous era of uprising, disaster and political reform. From famous leader Aung San Suu Kyi to the broken-hearted domestic worker Mu Mu, these are stories of tragedy, resilience and hope.
Join us to discuss this vivid account of a time of extraordinary change.
The event is free to attend and is open to all - no booking required. If you don't have time to read the book, a summary will be available.
