About us

It's Halloween! Are you ready to meet a witch with green fingers who just can't help making things grow? Or to find an amazing patch if pumpkins with faces that light up the darkness?

Join Hilarie Medler from Plymouth Children's Book Group, who will be sprinkling some magic by sharing some fun, spooky stories. Followed by activities including shadow puppetry, singing and making your own rhymes!

Plymouth Children's Book Group are part of a national charity promoting interest and enjoyment in children's books. They are made up of teachers, librarians, parents and others based in local groups across the UK, who encourage the availability of a range of literature for all ages by organising author and family events. Working with schools, preschools, publishers and libraries they involve thousands of young readers in the Children's Book Award.
