About us
The University of Plymouth is hosting a Health Showcase to celebrate 70 years of the NHS in England.The University is proud to celebrate our own everyday heroes in this showcase that illustrates why we are first choice for health in the South West.
Interactive activities will demonstrate how staff, students, researchers and health and social care professionals collaborate with the NHS and impact real-world experiences and positive outcomes in the healthcare professions. This partnership event will also explore the future of the sector and how research directly translates into improved patient care.
Navigate through our range of exhibitors from the fields of Medicine, Dentistry, Biomedical Science, Nursing, Midwifery, Psychology, Social Work and Allied Health Professions (Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Optometry, Paramedic Practitioner, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, and Sport Therapy and Rehabilitation).
This event is open to all staff, students and members of the public who wish to find out more about the health professions and the related research conducted across the South West. This event is suitable for adults of all ages and families with children over five years of age.
