About us

As part of Heritage Open Days 2018 you can climb Smeaton's Tower for free.

Discover the fascinating history of this iconic structure and witness views that are unrivaled across Plymouth Sound.

Due to its age and layout, we regret that disabled access to Smeaton's Tower is very limited.

For your safety we ask visitors to note that there are 93 steps, steep ladders and low ceilings and small openings.

No need to book. Last entry at 4.30pm.
