About us

Introducing Theatre Royal Plymouth's first ever Open Mic Night, How to Survive, coming to The Drum on the 15 and 16 of Feb 2024!

On a planet that is warming, where labels matter more than people and the bills just keep on rising, come and hear from the people of Plymouth on How to Survive in 2024.

How To Survive is a two-night series of open mic events exploring themes of diversity, inclusion and the climate emergency through music, spoken word, creative writing and more.

Each night will feature a range of emerging artists alongside four featured artists!

Join us in The Drum on 15th and 16th February 2024, where we will come together in a celebration of unwavering resilience, creativity and joy. Hosted by Bee Jarvis and Natasha Pavey (TRP Artists for Change).
